Subscriptions
Repeat orders your customers run themselves.
Standing orders: a shopper subscribes to a product, the store's own payment gateway charges each cycle on a mandate, and AlliDesk places the order in Shopify. Pause, skip, cancel and failed-payment retries included.
Switching it on
- Switch the module on with the toggle at the top of this page.
- Open Plans and set the delivery schedule and discount for the products you sell this way.
- Open Settings to connect payments and choose what a customer may change.
- Turn the AlliDesk app embed on in your theme so the subscribe option shows on the product page.
It is live when: The module is on and at least one subscription plan exists.
What your customer sees
A "Subscriptions" tab in their account on your own domain, in your branding — no second login, no app that looks like somebody else's.
Everything on the storefront is a theme block or the app embed, so there is no theme code to edit and nothing to undo if you switch the module off.
Questions merchants ask
How do subscriptions work?
A shopper subscribes to a product on a schedule you set in Plans; repeat orders are created automatically and they manage the plan from their account.
How are repeat orders paid?
Through the store's own payment account, set up under Subscriptions → Settings.
Works with
Every module shares the same customer, so these need no setting up twice.
